MBA Students Clash at Famous Pvt. University of Kolhapur,

Kolhapur – In an alarming case of violence at campuses, Two MBA students were seriously injured in a clash between two groups of students at a prestigious university in Kolhapur on Tuesday afternoon. The clash, which took place over a dispute of supremacy, involved students from the Kolhapur and Ichalkaranji campuses of the university.

According to Police The incident occurred at the university’s annual sports festival, which was being held in Hatkanangale. The two groups of students, identified as the “Sarkar Group” and the “Bage Group,” had been involved in a heated argument on Monday. Police had intervened and separated the groups, but the tension between them remained high.

On Tuesday afternoon, the argument between the two groups erupted into violence. Stones, slippers, and knives were used in the clash, which left two students seriously injured. The injured students were rushed to a private hospital in Kolhapur, where their condition is said to be critical.

In the aftermath of the clash, supporters of the injured students from Ichalkaranji stormed the university campus and vandalized property. They also assaulted security guards and faculty members. Police were called to the scene and brought the situation under control.

A case has been registered against both groups of students at the Hatkanangale police station. The investigation is ongoing.

The incident has raised concerns about the safety of students on university campuses. In recent years, there have been a number of violent clashes between student groups in the state.
