Olympic Medalist Swapnil Kusale Calls for Hindu Nation’s Progress

Pune: Olympic bronze medalist shooter Swapnil Kusale has urged people to work towards the progress of the Hindu nation. He was speaking at a Dahi Handi event organized by Amol Balwadkar in Balewadi-Hinjawadi on Tuesday. Kusale also emphasized the importance of a healthy diet for the youth and encouraged them to consume home-cooked, nutritious food.

“This is my first time participating in a Dahi Handi festival,” Kusale said. “We should preserve our Hindu culture. We all chant ‘Jai Shri Ram’ and raise slogans, but we need to go beyond that. Hindu culture should grow, and we should encourage our children so that our Hindu nation becomes stronger.”

He further added, “Physical fitness is important for playing a sport like Dahi Handi. Reaching that height and breaking the pot is commendable because it requires a lot of hard work. Young people need to eat well. They should avoid junk food and eat home-cooked, nutritious meals on time.” Kusale was felicitated at the event and awarded a cash prize of five lakh rupees.
