Kolhapur: Dr. Bapuji Salunkhe Institute of Engineering and Technology (DBSIET), under the Shri Swami Vivekanand Shikshan Sanstha, is set to host the 4th IEEE International Conference on Blockchain, Distributed Systems and Security (ICBDS-25) from October 30 to November 1, 2025.
This ‘Signature Conference’ is being jointly organized with IEEE Mumbai & Pune Sections and the Computer Society of India (CSI), Pune Chapter, marking it as the first IEEE conference in Southern Maharashtra.
Key Highlights & Technical Focus
The conference, which will be inaugurated by the Minister of Higher and Technical Education, Chandrakant Patil, will serve as a significant catalyst for research.
- Global Participation: The event has received 1079 research papers from institutions across Japan, the USA, Saudi Arabia, and India. A select 210 papers will be presented and published.
- Expert Lineup: Keynote addresses will be delivered by Mr. Vaibhav Mehta, a senior official from Japan’s Ministry of Security, and Dr. Vidyasagar Potdar, a scientist from Curtin University, Australia.
- Research Impact: The conference aims to foster remarkable momentum in the research domain, promoting collaboration and panel discussions on core technological challenges.
